Book Issue - Return
Here, you can record both the lending (issue) of a book and its return from a teacher or student who is already a library member.
Note: Add Racks, Add Books and Add members before opting to book transactions in Book Issue-return.
Note: It allows only the limited books mentioned in the Add Members module.
How to Issue Books?
Step 1: Click on “Add New” button.
Step 2: Choose "Book Issue Date"
Step 3: Choose "Membership type" (student / employee)
Step 4: Enter "Card Number"
Step 5: Choose "Class, Section & Student"
or
Step 5: Choose "Employee Role & Employee"
Step 6: Enter "Accession Number" (book title will be filled automatically)
Step 7: Choose "Due Date"
Step 8: Click “Add” button at bottom.
Step 9: Click “Back to List” to get back to the Book Issue - Return listing page.
How to Return Books / Extend Due Date?
Step 1: Click on “Return / Extend” action button next to the book issue entry.
Step 2: Choose "Return / Extend Due Date" from the dropdown menu (book returned / due date extended)
Step 3: For Book Returns Choose "Return Date"
or
Step 3: For Due Date Extension Choose "Revised Due Date"
Step 4: Click “Save” button at bottom.
